OhKay,So

I set out chips, salsa, and queso for a snack.

Grandma, re queso: I don't like that. You can take that away. (Shoves it toward me.)
Me: I'll just leave that there.

(5 mins later)

Grandma: What's that good on? (Points to queso.)
Me: Chips
Grandma: Well, I'll try it. (Tastes it, loves it, cleans out the bowl.)

Oh Alzheimer's, you slay me.

Cute Lies

A friend of mine told me today that they had to put her grandmother in a home years ago (Alzheimer's, I believe). They told her the home was a hotel, and she spent three years "holidaying" there. Happy as a lark.

Cute.

Dead Dogs/Furniture

I had no choice but to "Aww..." and "Oh my..." and "Oh dear..." and laugh hysterically at my mom's latest blog post about living with Graham Cracker. It's so sad, it's funny; it's so funny, it's sad.

Here's the link.

What a trip!

Update of Sorts

Well, she successfully made it to OKC. Her dog caused all kinds of problems on his way, though. That's a long story I'll let J sort out at some point. But evidently, as per B, she's still complaining about her dog arriving. B reminds her, the dog was ill, so J brought him to her, but she forgets that part over and over, and just complains about him being there over and over.

So I'm wondering how she's going to do with her furniture arriving. Which is happening as I type this. I sure hope M2 is right in thinking she won't notice. That would be great!!
